TapMac does its work on your Mac. It has no account, no analytics and no tracking.

What stays on your Mac

• Your voice. Speech is turned into text on your Mac. Audio is not saved or sent anywhere.
• Your text. AI text actions use Apple Intelligence on your Mac.
• Your clipboard history. It is kept on your Mac only.
• Your taps. The motion sensor is read only to notice taps.

When TapMac uses the internet

• Voice model download. If you turn on voice typing, TapMac downloads the speech model once from Hugging Face.
• Updates. TapMac checks GitHub for new versions.
• License checks. When you activate a key, each time TapMac starts, and about once a day after that, TapMac sends your license key and your Mac's name to Dodo Payments to confirm the key is valid.

Payments

Purchases are handled by Dodo Payments, which is the seller of record. Dodo collects your email and payment details under its own privacy policy. We see your email, country and order so we can help with your license or a refund. We never see your card number.
